Want to try working with clay but can't commit to a full course? Try our Monday Mini courses! each one is only 3 weeks long, perfect for chasing the winter blahs away!


Mini 1: Hand-building to enhance your pottery skills 

Jan. 28, Feb. 4, Feb. 11 

Learn everything you need to know about throwing by hand-building with instructor Rose Risi.

All levels welcome, newbies to experienced potters. 16+.

Mini 2: Planters For Spring!  

Feb 25, Mar. 4,11

Celebrate spring by designing and building your own planter with instructor Rose Risi. 

All skill levels and ages 14 to 104. 


Mini 3: Nerikomi/Neriage 

Mar 25, Apr.  1, 8 

Join instructor Rosalie MacNeil, to make your own coloured clays and work with layers and cuts for stunning visual impact in your pottery! 

All levels welcome! 16+.

Chris Snedden Hands-On Surface Decoration Workshop -- FULL


A full day hands-on workshop on slip decorating and image transfer with Chris Snedden.

Feb 23, 2019, 9am-4pm.


BPG Members: $90 (HST included)
Non-members: $120 (HST included)


Potters should bring a leather hard tile and cylinder for decorating; & a contribution for the potluck lunch.

The day will start with a quick review of basic slip decorating; painting, scraffitto, mishima, hakeme, paper resist, and others techniques. Then the day will progress through image transfer techniques like mono prints, block prints using rubber stamps, and a demonstration of how to make your own silkscreen prints for use on your pottery. Participants will have time to decorate their own pieces using the prints that they have made and some that are provided.
